BREAKING NEWS:
Is This Tiny Stock the Next Exxon
--
Or the Next Budweiser?
(A
Big Biotech Firm Just Paid $10 Million to Find Out)
Fellow Investor,
This
investment could make anyone who listens filthy rich.
The company owns a unique living
compound with huge potential in the production of cellulosic
ethanol -- a market with +15,900% government-mandated growth
ahead.
But even that immense market isn't big enough for its
CEO. He's looking at more than a hundred uses for his
patented "C-1 fungus biofactory." C-1 gives him a serious
competitive advantage: a patented living organism that no
one else can duplicate.
It can help thousands of companies make better bread,
better beer, better cosmetics, better drugs, and better
gasoline... and only this company has it. He's already licensed this game-changing technology to
two major energy producers. Biochemical firm Codexis just
paid $10 million to "borrow" this miracle compound.
Who knows how high this stock is headed? I honestly
don't. But it's so cheap now that making 100x your money is
possible once the technology goes mainstream. It's already a
key part of a market forced by law to grow +15,900%.
Do
yourself a favor and get the rest of the story below...

How a University of Iowa Student and a Russian
Scientist Created a Fungus that Could Replace Oil Forever

Is This Tiny Stock "The Next
Exxon"?
(Codexis Just Paid $10 Million to Find Out)
|
Dear Investor,
I just got off the phone with one of the most inspiring
businessmen I've ever met. He told me a fascinating
story involving a student from Iowa, Russian
scientists, WWII soldiers and something called "C-1
fungus."
And it all leads to the real possibility of "biofactories"
that can turn crops grown anywhere on the planet
into all the energy we'll ever want -- eliminating
the need for petroleum whatsoever.
I honestly think this guy is going to change the world.
If I'm right, he's going to make bucketloads of money
for anyone who comes along for the ride. And that
definitely includes me. You're invited too.
Powering the World
With... Sugar?
What he's discovered isn't just
ground-breaking biotechnology. It's nothing short of
revolutionary -- and one single company has the edge.
It can shift our country away from petroleum and onto
an efficient, secure and sustainable economic base. One based on
sugar, of all things.
With sugar, this company can feed bacteria and yeast to
make ethanol, plastics, polymers and all the other products made
by petroleum -- with zero emissions and all of it
renewable.
A barrel of sugar can replace a barrel of petroleum.
The beautiful thing about sugar is that you can grow it in
Texas... you can grow it in Canada... you can grow it anywhere.
You don't have to import it from hostile foreign nations.
From a national defense and jobs-creation standpoint,
growing "energy crops" or taking biomass and turning it into
sugar is absolutely what our country needs. |
 |
|
Renewable "energy crops" like sugar can be grown
anywhere in the world and can eliminate our dependence on
petroleum. |
In fact,
Washington is doing everything it can to steer us toward energy
independence.... including the implementation of a federal
timetable that
mandates our use of biofuel.
A
Stock Whose Immense Profits Are All
But Guaranteed By A Government Timetable
The biofuel revolution is here. It's not a wish,
it's not science fiction and it's not utopian
dreaming. It's the law. The Energy Independence and
Security Act of 2007 requires the country to
use 36 billion gallons of biofuel by 2022.
The rub is that only 15 billion gallons can be regular
corn-based ethanol. 21 billion gallons -- or almost
60% -- must be "advanced biofuels" that are 50%
cleaner than gasoline. Of that total, 16 billion
gallons must be something called "cellulosic"
biofuel.
The problem? We make almost no cellulosic biofuel now. Only a
few companies even know how.
By next year, we'll probably be producing 100 million
gallons -- a drop in the bucket.
That means we'll see cellulosic ethanol production jump
from almost zero to 16 billion gallons by 2022.
That's a +15,900% increase in only a dozen years!
How do you think that's going to translate to corporate
earnings?
Let me spell it out: The investors who get in on these
companies are going to be putting cellulosic ethanol fuel into
their Ferraris. Their chauffeurs will gas up their Rolls-Royces. |

Look at the table and you'll see that regular
ethanol production is mandated to rise +50% -- and
then flatline. A +50% gain isn't bad. You invest
$10,000 and you walk away with $15,000. But a
+15,900% gain is something else altogether: It turns
$10,000 into $1.6 million.
As I said, the biofuel revolution is here. The debate
is over, the bill has been passed, and the president
signed it into law. The only question is whether
you'll put biofuel into your car or whether you'll
deposit biofuel profits into your bank account. Buy
a few shares of the company I discovered today and
you can do both. Here's why...
How Stone Washed Jeans
Started a
Chain of Events that Could Topple Exxon
The
University of Iowa student I mentioned? That's our CEO.
After graduating from the famed program in 1977, he
made a mint pioneering the stonewash jeans industry. He taught Levi's, Guess
and Wrangler how to wash blue jeans to soften and fade the denim... and sold
them the pumice stones to do the job.
But in
the '80s, a Danish biotech outfit came up with an enzyme that
did a better job than pumice in the stonewash process. The
compound ate at cotton the way an acid might eat at metal.
Steamed at watching his business shrink, but realizing
that this was the future, he looked for scientists who could
help him make his own enzymes.
When the Berlin Wall fell he found a group at Moscow
State University who had worked on cellulosic ethanol in the
1970s.
So he hired them to look for something better to soften
jeans with. The Russians were happy to work for 5% of what he
would pay a lab in the States. |
 |
|
WWII GIs discovered the "trichoderma" fungus --
an enzyme similar to that which stone washes blue jeans. |
By 1994, he had launched his first commercial
cellulose product -- based on a fungus called
trichoderma. Trichoderma was first found on GIs'
tents in World War II. It was breaking down the
cotton fabric and the soldiers were getting rained
on. This fungus was a beast. It tore heavy-duty
tents to shreds.
For the next 66 years, U.S. government scientists tried
to engineer this particular fungus to do more
productive things... but never hit pay dirt.
A Lucky Break
Our
CEO got to thinking: If trichoderma breaks down plant fiber that well, then
maybe it can break down cell walls, too. That's the critical first step to
unleashing the sugar inside cellulose, which can then be fermented into
ethanol.
As his
team bred this fungus, a serendipitous mutation occurred that
allowed it to be produced on a large scale at low cost. He calls
his new organism "C-1 fungus"... and nobody has it but him.
C-1 has almost twice as many biofuel genes as
trichoderma. That's better not only for making ethanol from
sugar... but for industrial enzymes, cosmetics, biopharma, and
nutraceuticals.
The company's gene jockeys have worked with scientific
groups like Scripps Research Institute in Florida for 15 years
to perfect the technology.
All those years of effort are starting to pay off. Last
November, he licensed C-1 to Codexis, the biofuel partner of
Shell. He got a $10 million upfront payment in April. Back-end
payments start once Codexis sells products using this
technology.
In May 2009, he licensed it again to Abengoa Bioenergy
-- one of the world's largest alternative energy companies.
They're involved in solar and ethanol... and they're a
leader in cellulosic ethanol, too. Every time they open a
facility they have to pay a fee, plus royalties on products
using his technology. |
 |
|
The "C-1" miracle fungus has twice as many
biofuel genes as trichoderma. Its use is practically limitless.
The company that owns this organism is going to change the
world. Investors who own shares could make a killing. |
Limitless Use
The C-1
platform can be used for hundreds of applications beyond
cellulosic ethanol. The markets are endless.
While the
+15,900% government-mandated growth in cellulosic ethanol offers
dramatic potential, C-1 is as useful as steel, as adaptable as
silicone and as plentiful as hydrogen.
The fungus can produce enzymes for making bread rise in
baking, or making a key part of a life-saving drug.
It can improve so many processes that someday you might
go to the gas station and see "C-1 Inside" on the pump. You
might go to the drug store and see "C-1 Inside" on the boxes of
pills. Someday you might put on a pair of blue jeans and realize
they've got "C-1 Inside." You might buy a loaf of bread or a
bottle of beer and see "C-1 Inside." It goes on and on and on.
Thousands of companies would pay for the right to
integrate C-1 into their manufacturing. And no one could copy
it. |
 |
|
While the +15,900% government-mandated growth in
cellulosic ethanol offers dramatic potential, "C-1" can be used
for hundreds of additional applications. |
Even with unlimited cash, it could take another
research team 10 years to catch up with C-1. And
they still might fail. Remember, this company's
breakthrough was a "serendipitous mutation" -- a
happy win against long odds. That's one heck of a
competitive advantage.
What You Should Do Now
I urged my Government-Driven
Investing readers to buy this stock on July 3rd
-- and it's already shot up +157%.
The company has already licensed
its C-1 miracle fungus to two major alternative
energy players and is looking for more. As
federally-driven demand for cellulosic ethanol
grows, this firm's revenue stream will turn into a
river. It's a great long-term play.
This is just one example of how we're letting the
government do the heavy lifting for us here at
Government-Driven Investing.

For my current
overview of the entire government-based investing
scene, check out my bulletin below. Out of the
dozens of ways to profit from government action, I
lay out my favorite three below.
Why not take a peek now…

This Is The Future Of Investing
Companies Profiting From
Government Action are Immune to Economic Cycles. It's Like Investing in a
Bull Market That Never Ends.
Hi, my name is Andy Obermueller. And
starting today, investors like
you have a new weapon: Government-Driven Investing.
It's the first and only service in the country 100%
devoted to digging up ways to profit from the never-ending stream of
policies, regulations, and cash pouring out of Washington.
Of course you may not agree with every move Washington makes. I
certainly don't. But that shouldn't stop you from using
back-room information to sharpen your investments and see them
skyrocket. The
government-driven stocks I'm uncovering can anchor your
portfolio for years to come, throwing off the kind of profits
that can change your life.
You
see, every move Washington makes helps some business, somewhere.
So I don't waste my time chasing the latest Wall Street fad. I
stick to the one money-making strategy that has worked for
decades.
Sure
I'll take notice if corporate insiders are dumping or loading up on their
own shares. I keep an eye on what Wall Street's few proven long-term winners
are buying and selling... men like Warren Buffett who have made fortunes
through every kind of market. But I never take my eyes off the
biggest player of all... the only actor on the financial stage that
can single-handedly grace our table with riches or yank them all away: the
U.S. government.
|
 |
|
Andy Obermueller, Chief Investment Strategist of
Government-Driven Investing |
Our federal government is gargantuan. It's the most
significant financial force on the planet.
Like a whale in a pond, it sends shock waves
through the economy with its every move. These waves
create tsunamis of cash that inject billions of
dollars into companies in the right place at the
right time. Like the "C-1 miracle fungus" company I
told you about earlier.
So Can The Government Really Make You Rich?
Yes. We see it again
and again. Whenever Washington decides to help a new
industry get off the ground, the investment profits
follow in lockstep. This holds true whether it's the
Internet, nanotechnology, wind power, electric cars,
or any other industry.
 |
Amgen's epic stock gains would never
have happened
if the government hadn't
invested heavily in biotechnology in the 1980s. It was a
government scientist in fact, working in partnership with Amgen, who
made the discovery that led to Amgen's first blockbuster drug.
Anyone who wanted to make a play on Amgen's government connections
in the 1980s could have bought in at $7.75 a share. A
thousand-share $7,750 flyer would now be $3.6 million. That's
what I call a life-changing stock.
|
| |
|
 |
When the government began its massive
effort to modernize its computer systems in the mid-1990s, Oracle
and Dell were the main suppliers. These lucrative contracts
kick-started epic growth at both companies, as they branched out to
consumers and businesses worldwide.
Investors who got on
board Oracle back then brought home gains of +1,185% by the end of
the decade. Dell saw their shares skyrocket +7,861% over the same
time, turning $10,000 into a sweet $796,100. |
The
government made millionaires of thousands of Dell, Oracle, and Amgen
investors. And I'm convinced cellulosic biofuel is next.

Today's Top Government-Driven Investments
Look, I'm passionate about this topic for one
reason: It works. I've personally invested
using a number of strategies over the years. Like
you, I've tried various combinations of value,
income and growth strategies.
However, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything with as
much potential as the government-driven stocks I'm
finding. Case-in-point, the "C-1 miracle fungus"
company I told you about earlier. Here are some more
of my favorites...
|
The Next Way
The Government Will Make Investors Rich |
President Obama's vision calls for the United States to produce
15-20% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
The U.S. currently produces only
1.25% of its power from wind, which is 100% green, producing no
emissions and requiring no fuel inputs. |

|
Leading wind-turbine manufacturers stand to
rake in billions as the U.S. and other countries scramble to order
thousands of wind turbines to add green power to their grids.
I've
identified the two strongest players in this category -- you'll find
both of their names in my Government-Driven Investing
portfolio. |
|
Get Your Share
of the Billions Pouring into Healthcare |
Health-care costs continue to spiral, and President Obama's plan
includes using technology to make delivery more efficient.
Obama wants to spend $20 billion a
year to implement the technology, which will cost a total of $75
billion to $100 billion. |

|
Dumping
billions into digitizing medical records is going to mean huge
bottom-line increases for the best-in-class vendors I've identified.
All four of these companies are going to
experience a huge boom in this business as hospitals, clinics and
medical offices start to digitize their files. You'll find their
names in my
Government-Driven Investing portfolio. |
|
The
Breakthrough "Oxy-Coal" Stock To Buy Today |
Everyone knows clean energy is a major part of the Obama agenda.
Well his initiatives are already playing out.
On June 28th, the U.S. House of
Representatives passed the landmark "cap-and-trade" bill. This
bill limits the amount of CO2 industry can emit. |

|
Right now, 35% of America's carbon emissions come from
coal-fired power plants. Coal is abundant and cheap in the U.S. --
we're sitting on enough of the stuff to power every home in America
for the next 400 years. At the same time, these coal plants are
simply too expensive to replace. It'd take $672 billion and several
years.
The
solution is to find a way to burn coal without producing CO2. A
handful of companies have figured out how to do this. Their method,
called oxy-coal, is recognized as being perhaps the most promising
environmentally-friendly technology on the planet.
My favorite pick in this area owns more
than 200 patents related to oxy-coal. You'll find its name in my
Government-Driven Investing portfolio. |

Government Mandate Spells +15,900%
Growth
Current U.S. law, which went into effect on January 1st, mandates a
+15,900% increase in production for "cellulosic biofuel" by 2022.
Currently, there is only one publicly traded company in this space. It's
the industry leader, and its stock has the potential to grow in concert
with cellulosic ethanol quotas. That means upside of +15,900% during the
next dozen years. That could turn every $1,000 invested into $160,000 in
only 12 years. You'll get all the details on this opportunity --

Best Infrastructure Profit Plays for the $2.2 Trillion Repair
Bill
*The Unites States has
received a near-failing grade on its infrastructure.
Every week, a new story emerges about a major infrastructure
failure that must be fixed.
*Bridges, roads, railways, dams, locks, power lines, power
plants, water mains
-- they all need hundreds of billions of dollars in repairs
-- and soon. The recent stimulus plan has provisions
to boost federal spending in this area.
*The need is even greater in emerging markets, where the
infrastructure is decidedly minimal. Dozens of
governments in these countries are ramping up spending to
build infrastructure that will allow them to compete in a
global economy -- and create jobs that will help shake off
the worldwide recession.

Government Profit Plays You Won't Hear About on TV
*The Unites States has 5% of the world's population and

private companies.
*This outsourcing trend is likely to continue as federal and
state budgets are stretched thin, leaving little funding for prisons
and even less for new facilities.
Two companies will profit. One is the leading U.S. prison
operator. The other is the nation's only publicly traded
inmate health care company. You'll get both their names in
this report. |

Alternative Energy: Obama's Passion Meets Your Portfolio
President Obama,
a few days after being sworn in as president, delivered his
first weekly radio address. One of the first things the
new 44th president mentioned was wind power. At the
cornerstone of his vision is the creation of a "green-collar"
economy that attempts to accomplish two goals: The first is the
creation of millions of jobs; the second is reducing the
nation's dependence on oil in favor of other, renewable energy
options.
"To accelerate the creation of a
clean-energy economy," Mr. Obama said, "we will double our
capacity to generate alternative sources of energy like wind,
solar, and biofuels over the next three years."
You'll find my three favorite wind plays in
this report. |

Finally, No More Guessing
Investing is tough enough in good times. In this shell-shocked
economy, you need an edge that puts the odds squarely on your side. The best
way to do that today... indeed the
only way... is to limit your investments to those that are virtually
guaranteed to succeed -- thanks to the daunting power of the federal
government.
When you subscribe to
Government-Driven Investing, you'll no longer have to
guess which sector's going up and which is going down. Companies profiting
from government spending and regulation are immune from those cycles. You'll
be investing in a bull market that never ends.
Your odds will certainly be a heck of a lot better than listening to the
usual suspects. Take Wall Street analysts. As a group, their forecasting
record is horrible. In 2007, analysts told us the Dow would hit 15,000. You
know what happened next.
In the middle of
2008, 12 of the 16 analysts following Citigroup had "buy" ratings on the
stock -- when it was trading above $50. Now it's a penny stock.
In a world where 7 out of 10 mutual fund managers lose to the unmanaged S&P
500... and where half the economists are wrong about which way
interest rates are heading... why place your bets with these perennial
losers? Especially when you can invest in companies that are immune to
nearly all outside economic forces.
Government-Driven Investing will change the way you look
at investing forever. And no other service besides
Government-Driven Investing is out there to help you.
Remember, every
time the government spends a buck or passes a law, someone
profits... and it should be you.
If you don't
grab this opportunity now, you might regret it for a long
time.
I urge you to give us a try.

P.S. We have one
more gift for you:
Stocks That Will Suffer at the Hands of Congress.
Your faithful congressmen don't
deliberately set out to destroy a stock's value. It just happens.
Shifts in national policy produce winners and losers. Always have,
always will.
Think about it:
Does national legislation ever hurt a private company? Or an
entire sector? Only a few hundred times a year! Just look at the
online gaming stocks that crashed to zero two years ago after
Congress decided to stop banks from processing payments for
them. More than a billion dollars in market capitalization was
wiped out in two days. Imagine the money short-sellers made on
that!
We have our eyes on several big
names in the government's cross-hairs right now. They are some
of the most widely-held stocks in America. Millions of investors
hold their shares and if you do too, you need to dump them now.
This goes far beyond protecting yourself from a crashing stock.
Getting your hands on this list gives you some spectacular
short-sale opportunities. An innocent company can see its stock
plunge -90% when the government decides it's time for a policy
change. The few who see it coming and actively
short the stock end up profiting hand over fist. |
