Investing Ideas for 2006 From Some of Today's Leading Financial
Analysts |
Published: February 20, 2006
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting with Steven Halpern,
editor of The
Money Show Digest -- one of the nation's leading financial
newsletters.
Published each and every week, The Money Show Digest features
in-depth analysis and investing ideas from some of today's leading
financial analysts. It's a quick and easy read,
and for the small investor, I think it's one of the best sources of free
information available on the Internet.
During our meeting, Steven had some nice things to say about our work
here at StreetAuthority -- something I'm always happy to hear about. We
put a tremendous amount of research, time and effort into everything we
publish on our web site and in our five
investing newsletters, and it's good to know that our hard work is
appreciated by not only our subscribers, but also our fellow colleagues.
Here's a direct quote from Steven . . .

"Having
read hundreds of financial newsletters on an ongoing basis for
over 23 years, I can tell you that StreetAuthority's services are
among the very best in the business. I am continually amazed at
the broad range of in-depth and consistently excellent research
that you offer to your readers. Keep up the good work!"

During our meeting, Steven also reminded me of his annual Top
Picks report -- a special research brief that he has published every
January for the last 23 years. Each year he asks a select group of
the nation's leading advisors to select a favorite stock or two for the
year ahead, and he then compiles all of those profiles into his Top
Picks report.
This year's report not only features some analysis that I've written
in recent months, but it also includes two interesting investing ideas
from Carla Pasternak -- editor of our High-Yield
Investing newsletter.
To review this year's Top Picks report, please visit
this link. Please note that you'll need the Adobe Acrobat's Reader
software in order to view this report. If you don't already have
that software on your computer, then you can download it for free by
visiting Adobe's
web site.
You'll find my analysis on page 2 of the report, and you can read
Carla's submission on pages 34-35. I sincerely hope you enjoy and
benefit from this information, and I'd like to thank Steven once again
for giving us the opportunity to contribute to his outstanding service.
Good investing!
