Important Updates for Investors
Carla Pasternak's Premiere Issue of High-Yield International Just
Released
Income expert Carla Pasternak's debut issue of High-Yield
International covers a Taiwanese manufacturer yielding 9.5%... a
rare Mexican monopoly yielding 13.4%... and other top-performing
investments yielding up to 19.0%.
Government's Biofuel Timetable Could Spell +15,900% Growth
+15,900% growth might seem far-fetched... but it's not. In fact, it
is mandated by law. And I've identified the ONLY stock positioned to
capture this growth.
The
Silver Lining to a Falling Dollar
Despite the U.S. national debt, there is a silver lining for income
investors. This massive spending, combined with movement out of U.S.
Treasuries, is going to take its toll on the dollar, and
international income investors could reap the rewards in the form of
higher dividends. |

Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) Information
Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) such as the Nasdaq 100 Trust
(symbol QQQ) and the S&P 500 SPDR (symbol SPY) have become extremely popular
tools for traders and investors over the past couple of years. And for good
reason! These unique financial instruments are essentially passive mutual funds,
similar to traditional index funds, that allow investors to purchase a basket of
securities in a single transaction. Their popularity has soared over the past
few years thanks to the fact that they boast a number of key advantages over
both mutual funds and common stocks. These include...
- Diversification -- Each ETF represents an interest
in an underlying basket of common stocks. This allows investors to gain
broad exposure to a large group of companies in one fell swoop.
- Low Cost -- Unlike traditional mutual and index
funds, you can purchase ETFs with no front- or back-end loads. In addition,
because they are not actively managed, most ETFs charge minimal annual
expenses of under 1%, making them much more affordable than most other
diversified investment vehicles.
- Liquidity -- Unlike traditional funds, ETFs can be
bought and sold throughout the trading day. In addition, the more popular
ETFs, such as QQQ and SPY, are some of the most heavily-traded
instruments on the market, making them perfect targets for short-term
traders. For example, the average daily volume for the Nasdaq 100 Trust
(QQQ) alone now sits at roughly 80 million shares, making it the most active
security on Wall Street.
- So Many Choices -- The American Stock Exchange alone
now lists over 100 different ETFs. Some of these funds track broad U.S.
equity market indices. Meanwhile, others track specific sectors or industry
groups. Still others represent an interest in baskets of foreign stocks. And
finally, others invest exclusively in the bond market. With so many options
to choose from, you're certain to benefit from ETFs no matter what your
investing/trading style!

We're also pleased to bring you a listing of some of the most
useful exchange-traded fund (ETF) web sites on the Internet. Whether you're new
to these unique instruments or you're already an expert, the following sites
will give you all the information you'll need to determine which ETFs are right
for your portfolio.
ETF
Profiles From StreetAuthority.com -- Part of our complimentary educational
archive on our web site (http://www.streetauthority.com/education.asp),
here you'll find complete in-depth descriptions of every major exchange-traded
fund on the market, including such heavily-traded funds as the Nasdaq-100 Trust
(QQQ), S&P 500 SPDR (SPY), Dow Diamonds (DIA), S&P 400 MidCap (MDY) and
the Nasdaq Biotech iShares (IBB), among others.
iShares
-- Far and away one of the best ETF sites on the Internet, iShares allows you to
sort through funds based on such important criteria as market cap, investment
objective, sector, or national focus. In addition, the site gives specific
information on the returns, holdings and fees charged by each fund. To get the
most out of this web site, use the "Site Utilities" toolbar on the
left-hand side of the page.
American Stock
Exchange -- The American Stock Exchange is home to most ETFs and offers a
good deal of information on each one. The site also features a powerful ETF
screener. To jump directly to the site's exchange-traded fund content, select
the "ETFs" link on the left-hand toolbar.
Morningstar
-- This site contains current ETF market news and a variety of information on
all different types of ETFs.
Nasdaq.com
-- Along with general information, this web site serves up a listing of the
day's most active ETFs, as well as the day's top advancers/decliners.
StreetTracks
-- This site features profiles of roughly a dozen ETFs offered by State Street
Global Advisors.
Merrill
Lynch HOLDRs -- Here you'll find everything you could possibly want to know
about Merrill Lynch stock bundles known as HOLDRs. The only drawback to these
unique ETFs, however, is that they must be purchased in 100-share round lots,
making some of them quite expensive for small investors. (FYI -- the HOLDRS name
stands for "HOL"ding company "D"epositary "R"eceipt"S".)
